Getting to the Virginia V

Out-of-Towners

Assuming you're coming from the Hotel Ändra, there are numerous ways to get to the Virginia V:

Walk:  The boat is only a (flat) 1.0 mile walk from the Hotel, and the stroll through South Lake Union in mid-August will be lovely.

Light Rail: If you're wearing tall shoes, perhaps the walk isn't for you.  Fortunately there is a light rail station for the famed South Lake Union Trolley a block from the Hotel that will drop you right in front of the dock. The ride time is about 7 minutes and it runs until 11PM.

Uber / Taxi:  The boat is a 5 minute cab ride from the Hotel and will likely run you about $5.00 to $7.00.  Just tell your driver you're going to 860 Terry Ave N or the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI).

Drive:  See the "In-Towners" section for parking instructions.

In-Towners

For the locals, you know how challenging parking (and driving) can be in South Lake Union, with that in mind we encourage you to take cabs to the venue, especially if you plan to enjoy a few refreshments.  But for those brave enough to try to find parking here are a few recommendations:

South Lake Union Park Parking Lot: This is a pay lot just south of the dock.  The lot can be accessed off of Valley St.

Westlake Parking: On the east side of Westlake Blvd N there is a large pay lot.  The dock can be accessed using the pedestrian bridge that crosses over Central Cove.

We love you all very much, so however you choose to get to and from the venue, please don't drink and drive.
